"Our business is not about being the biggest; it’s about being the best. As a professional services company, our continuing success is dependent upon our people, and our ability to leverage the value of a more diverse workforce."

- Ian Linnell, President of Fitch Ratings

Fitch Ratings is a leading provider of credit ratings, commentary and research. We exist to serve investors and ultimately to help markets operate more efficiently.

Our company has grown substantially during its 100+ year history, most notably over the past two decades when we combined four small rating agencies to become one world-class alternative to the ratings status quo. In more recent years, Fitch has increased its global presence and expanded its analytical capabilities, while following a program of managed growth to accommodate market opportunities and strategic initiatives.

As we continue through our second century, we remain committed to providing quality information that helps drive efficient markets and healthy economies.
